Smart Talent is seeking an experienced HR Generalist for a client in Everett. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of HR experience in both small/startup to medium/large business. Experience in manufacturing industry a plus. You must be highly motivated (heavy workload), versatile, work well in a fast-paced environment, have high verbal and written communication skills, detailed oriented and be a strategic thinker and operates well on your own without much supervision.

Job Description
The HR Generalist will manage all HR programs, including total rewards, talent acquisition, HR compliance, employee relations, and training & development and performance management. HR Generalist's day-to-day varies, but largely consists of recruiting and program management.
Specific Responsibilities May Include
Collaborates with the HR team and business leaders to help establish HR plans and solutions to achieve strategic business initiatives and deliver results.
Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all employees, assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
Manages health benefits, including open enrollment and site wellness initiatives.
Partners with benefit providers and brokers to resolve any issues and act as a primary 401k administrator.
Manages and maintains affirmative action program.
Partners with employment counsel to ensure proper work authorization for foreign nationals employed by company.
Handles employee relations and outplacement counseling, and exit interviewing.
Administers payroll program and owns the payroll system, process and procedure.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a college or university, preferably in Human Resources.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in HR
Strong Project Management skills required.
Must be proficient in Windows and MS Office Suite.
Strong communication and written skill required.
PHR or SHRM-CP or HR Management Program Certificate strongly preferred.
Experience in Paylocity or similar HRIS including LMS strongly desired.
